Do you have a soft spot for sport climbing? Head on a “vertical walk” up one of the climbing walls in the Soča Valley.
In the area around Bovec, Kobarid and Tolmin, there are numerous equipped climbing areas where routes of medium difficulty prevail, while the hardest route is currently marked 8a. Sport climbing in the Soča Valley is particularly interesting because it is set in a beautiful natural environment, which leaves an impression in many climbers’ hearts.
Security should always come first in sport climbing, so make sure you are well prepared and equipped. Prior to the visit, check the existing climbing guides and manuals and look for information about the actual state of the route.
